    • Mandatory Information: Email address (required for distinguishing individual accounts and verifying users through Google OAuth and Apple OAuth).

    • Optional Information: Name, birthday, profile photo, and background photo. This optional information helps create your personalized Realspace profile. You may choose what information is visible on your profile, and except for the email, other profile details can be hidden.

  • Automatically Collected Data:

    • Cookies: We use essential cookies solely to store session tokens, which are required for secure login and authentication.

    • Analytics: We collect non-personal usage data to improve app functionality and create new marketing strategies.

Data Usage

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Personalization: To customize your experience within Realspace.

  • Service Improvement: Understanding user interactions helps us enhance our offerings.

  • Notifications: Sending relevant updates, including new features, Realspace events, and app announcements.

  • Marketing: We may share updates and features with you, as well as share aggregated, anonymized user preferences with community organizations to help them better serve user needs.

Note: Profile data that identifies individual users is visible only to friends or specific connections within the app.

Data Sharing

  • Third-Party Access:

    • We do not sell personal information to third parties. Realspace prioritizes user privacy and limits data sharing to essential service functionality and aggregated community insights only.

    • Community Organizations: These groups may receive anonymized, aggregated analytics related to user preferences within their communities to protect individual privacy. By adding a new community organization, users consent to those community organizations knowing who they are and how they interact with the community organization through the Realspace application.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access and Update: View or update your profile information through the settings within the Realspace app.

  • Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data from our systems within [X] days.

  • Cookies: Realspace uses cookies solely for storing session tokens, which are essential for secure access and login functionality.

  • Cookie Management: You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. However, please note that cookies are essential for Realspace’s authentication and login processes.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your Realspace account remains active. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently deleted from our systems within 1 day.

User Control Options

Users have control over what data is visible in their profile. You can adjust your privacy settings within the app, choose the visibility of optional profile information, and opt out of notifications or marketing communications if desired.

Children’s Privacy

Realspace is intended for users over the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and our app is not subject to COPPA requirements.

Realspace may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When significant changes are made, you will be notified via in-app notifications, and a modal view will inform you of the updates.
